소개

저는 사회학자로서 과학과 문화 영역에서 겉보기에는 객관적인 평가 체계가 사회적 위계를 어떻게 재생산하는지 연구합니다. 서로 다른 맥락을 가로질러 살펴보면, 일관된 패턴이 드러납니다. 능력에 기반한 것처럼 보이는 평가나 보상에도 여성과 지위가 낮은 행위자에게 불리하게 작용하는 편향이 내재되어 있습니다. 연구 결과는 American Sociological Review, Poetics, Socius, Journal of Social Entrepreneurship에 게재되었으며, Gender & Society에 게재 예정입니다.
